Attention!

Hey Gang, wanted to update everyone on the con this weekend. We found out over the weekend that due to circumstances beyond our control we will have to move venues. After taking the time to talk to some of our vendors who set up at shows full time and needed a show for the weekend of the 13th, we didn’t want to cancel out right. We will be holding a smaller version of the show at the Comfort Inn 7 mins away from our old venue. It will be a much smaller show, but we will do our best to bring you some of the best vendors in the south east.

We will be holding a convention of similar size to our normal Time Tunnel Comic Con at our new full time venue at the end of August. Info on that will be released later this week. Vendors that have paid for their spot already have guaranteed spots at either show. I will be reaching out soon to those folks to see what works best for them. For all the other vendors please message or call me at the shop if you don’t hear from me by Wednesday so we can figure out what show best suits your needs. 

Last bit of bad news is TNA champion Moose will not be able to come to our signing. We were co-promoting the signing and main event match at Apple City Championship Wrestling, but unfortunately for all involved, This is a result of contractual obligations that will leave Moose in the UK for longer than originally anticipated for a taping of TNA. We hope to have him at a con in the future. 

All of this was dropped at our feet over the course of a 48 hour period. We have finalized our show for the 13th. New details are as followed

We will be open from 11am-5pm on the 4th of July. Store wide sale! 20% off all comics, toys, cards, and statues! (Excluding new release wall and $1 boxes). We will also have a couple of cool freebies for subscribers that stop by on the 4th. Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!

Our Free RPG Day event will be held on July 6th. Everyone one is allowed one free RPG book from this years exclusive titles. If you purchase any gaming accessory you can have one of every title (buy a set of dice or a mini and take home one of every title!) We will randomly give out some Free RPG day swag through out the day. We will be running the Pathfinder 2E highest one shot from this years offerings as well! We will post about times and sign ups for the game on Thursday.

Hey all!

My birthday is this weekend and wanted to do something fun. Usually we have our first Highland Rec Con of the year on my birthday weekend, instead we will be doing a sale at the shop! And to keep it simple everything will be 25% off! Thats on back stock, toys (new and used), board books, cards (sealed and singles), statues, basically everything! Only things excluded are the new release wall books, dollar comics, and supplies. Everything else is on sale!

We are so excited to announce our next in store signing. November 25th we will be hosting WWE Legend Mick Foley! Signing will be taking place at our Hickory location (265 2nd Ave Se Hickory, NC 28602) from 2pm-5pm.

We understand this is the Saturday after Thanksgiving so if there are people that are traveling for the holiday and can’t make it, let us know and we can secure your signatures for you to be picked up at the shop or shipped out.
